July saw continued growth in buyer interest in the used equipment market of 1.82% after a similar increase in June. After reductions in growth during April and May, this reversal will be welcome during a traditionally quiet period for the market.
Particularly strong growth was seen in the woodworking, broadcast and printing sectors, all of which saw double-digit increases.

Negative growth was seen in a number of markets which have performed well over the year to date. These included the manufacturing and plastics equipment markets which saw growth shrink by 11% and 17% respectively.
Buyer interest figures quoted were based on analysis of buyer search volume and purchase activity between July 1 - July 31.
