The BUCHI B-545 melting point apparatus was designed to be extremley user friendly with its digital display and simple interface. This unit works automatically and is nearly hands free. Minimal attention during operation is necessary.
The standard deviation and mean values can be calculated, printed, and diagrammed. These units are great for use in quality control and routine analysis of homogeneous samples.

Heating: 50-350 degrees celsius in just 7 minutes
350-50 degrees celsius in 10 minutes
Ambient to 400 degrees celsius
RS232 interface

Unit is in exceptionally great shape! It appears to have very little use, if any at all. May have been a backup unit. The blue plastic film is still in place over the digital display. Comes with cord and storage cover as shown in the pictures.
