Design
The OPEX AS3600i is a high-speed, color scanner equipped with a unique drop feeder, which operates as part of an OPEX 51 Rapid
Extraction Desk for quick and easy mail handling. Designed to provide image capture for a variety of mail, the OPEX AS3600i processes
clean payments, exception mail and full-sized documents. This scanner eliminates the time and labor required to batch, prep and scan,
offering additional cost saving advantages.
The OPEX AS3600i is intended for remittance, imaging and data capture applications. A single operator can open and capture all kinds
of transaction types at top speed, including checks, remittance advice, envelopes, correspondence, lists, Reply Devices, priority mail and
other exception types. Separator sheets are unnecessary, so the operator can effortlessly drop and scan documents for smooth processing.
Capabilities & Function
Built onto the OPEX 51 Rapid Extraction Desk, the OPEX AS3600i allows a Gift Processor to open, extract, identify, prep, capture, orient,
read, sort create an audit trail and output mail content in one step. As quickly as mail can be opened, it can be scanned immediately. The
OPEX AS3600i delivers the functionality of a high-end production scanner, but at a much lower cost.
On the first pass, the OPEX AS3600i offers ASCII or XML output. Data is extracted from each image during the capture process, providing an intelligent scanning solution.
