The autocollimator is designed to testing photographic and cinematographic cameras and lenses. Collimation is the adjustment of a given lens to a camera body, so when on that particular camera body the lens will provide correct focus to infinity as well as to the lens scale settings (in theory providing the lens scale settings are accurate).
The Collimator has some signs of wear, but works fine.
