Based in Harrison Ohio, USA Cincinnati Incorporated is a manufacturer of tools and metal fabrication equipment. Founded in 1898 as The Cincinnati Shaper Company, the company had three abiding principles; innovation, performance and endurance. The early machines were used in the transport industry to create metals for freight trains but manufacture of metal fabrication equipment itself first started in the early 1920's, and this remains the company’s primary focus to this day.
Innovation was central to the company’s growth and Cincinnati was credited with the development of the first linear-motor-driven laser cutting systems. New technology in press brakes and CNC lathes have also been launched over the years.
The current range of Cincinnati products include lasers, press brakes, shears, automation, PM presses, tooling and full support for working software, control upgrades, installation and training. The company provides tool makers and metal fabricators a full consultancy service and recommissioning and decommissioning of legacy units. Spare parts, upgrades and accessories are also available through the company’s distribution network across the USA and Canada. The company also has an agency in Japan.
With over 500 employees in Ohio Cincinnati also provides a full pre installation service, documentation and literature for its product range. In recent news Cincinnati has been acclaimed for its Proform press brakes range, used in the military and mining sectors and the company has invested widely in remote diagnostics for metal fabrication.
