Heidelberg - Sheetfed Press
German manufacturer Heidelberg produce a range of machinery for the printing industry including sheetfed press machines. In addition to Heidelberg sheetfed press machinery, Heidelberg manufacture a series of other machines, these include many products used in the integrated print shop such as Prinect links prepress, press, and post press. Also solutions to improve management processes, workflow optimisation and high quality standards.
Heidelberg Sheetfed press machines were first produced in 1974 with the launch of the world’s first four-color machine Speedmaster 72 V using the 52x72 centimeter format. Further models were introduced including the two colour 102 ZP. In the 1990’s the 524P3 range introduced CPTronic capability, automating even more of the sheetfed press process. The P3 also had four colour functionality and is able to produce 12000 sheets per hour.
The Print Master range of Heidelberg sheetfed press machines was launched in 2005 and more compact, automated machines were then first produced. The current range of Heidelberg sheetfed press machines include high-performance equipment covering the entire value-added chain in sheet fed offset printing for hybrid applications and ,or extremely short runs.
The company offers a range of services, training and advisory portfolios designed to enhance print shops' economic performance and carbon footprint including carbon-neutral presses and its green printing activities, under the Saphira Eco seal of approval.
The current range includes Speedmaster or Printmaster options in different size formats, such as 35 x 50 cms, 50 x 70 cms, 70 x 100 cms, 100 x 140 cms and 120 x 160 cms. This ensures there is a sheetfed press option to cover all size print jobs.
