This is a used L-band Tx/RX set, there are 6 slots in a redundant power supplied case, one rack mountable for the inside RX unit and one hard trans post case that housed the TX equipment. We used this setup to provide satellite signals into convention centers around the country, they were used a couple of times each year for about 14 days total each year. They have not been used in the last 4 years. They have Ortel transmitters and receivers, using SM mode fiber for each port, total of 10 Ortel's in five slots with one slot having no Tx or RX equipment on the slot boards.
