The BelSonic SeamStar BS 2060 sews, cuts and/or welds synthetic fabrics without threads,
glue or other consumables.
Although similar in appearance to traditional sewing machines, the BelSonic SeamStar
BS 2060 has more space between the wheel and the sonotrode, which is ideal for
hand-guided applications with little tolerance or for any work around
curves.
Ultrasonic welding with the BelSonic SeamStar BS 2060 eliminates the use of needles and
wire and any resulting problems. With a production speed of up to 4 times faster

Applications
The BelSonic SeamStar BS 2060 presents a production alternative for cutting and/or
welding of synthetic fabrics. The most suitable materials for ultrasonic welding
are of 100% synthetic origin or thermoplastic fabrics. Mixtures having a maximum
40% natural fibers can also be used.

The BelSonic SeamStar BS 2060 can be used for the following materials: polyester,
polypropylene, nylon, acrylic, thermoplastic urethanes, etc. These materials can be
(non-)wovens, needle felt, knits, films and laminates.

Applications include: filtrations, body armor, lingerie, disposable clothing, mats,
belts, technical textiles, packaging, insulation (aircraft covers, construction), blinds, ...
