This BioLogic Stopped-Flow Spectrometer System is used and in excellent condition.

*This unit has been fully tested. All items are operating fully, except for one PM-200. We are selling this system as a one PM-200 photomultiplier tube system. However, we are including the non-functioning PM-200. If the PM-200 were to be repair/replaced by manufacturer, this Stopped-Flow Spectrometer could then run tests/measurements where two photomultiplier tubes are required. Currently it can only run tests/measurements where one photomultiplier tube is required. This unit has been priced accordingly.

Its independent stepping motor technology offers full individual control of volume and flow velocity in each syringe. Precise control allows mixing ratios from 1:1 to 1:100 to be achieved. A series of shots at various concentrations can be programmed quickly and run in a few minutes without refilling or changing syringes.

MOS-200 Modular Optical System
MOS-200 is an efficient single grating manual monochromator spectrometer. It has been specially designed to offer you the highest speed and sensitivity in rapid kinetics acquisitions. A Xe or Xe(Hg) light source is used for illumination of sample. Connection to the stopped-flow cuvette is done through a fiber optic cable, which guarantees maximum and uniform light efficiency from the grating to the observation cell. Detection is made using a high sensitivity photomultiplier tube (PMT) optimized for wavelength from 160 to 850 nm. The operator has the choice between single and multi time base acquisition modes with a fastest sampling period of 1 measurement per 10 µs. Combined with the 250 µs dead time of the stopped-flow it offers ideal conditions for ultra-fast kinetics. Sampling rate is adjustable so complex reactions with different steps can be followed easily.
