STMCs can operate with electric or steam heating systems, or through a combined electric and steam heating system. The production capacity of compressed steam distillers can range from: 20 to 20,000 lph, with one or more compressors.


The recognized benefits of steam recompression technology can be summarized as follows:

Does not require cooling water to condense pure steam
Does not require high quality feed water (in some cases, even softened water can feed the STMC distiller)
Very high quality of WFI due to strong degassing process
