Portable analyzer in the Na-U elemental range. It uses a rhodium tube source and 8 micron beryllium window that generates X-rays in the range 6-50kV with 5-200microA, for a maximum output power of 4 Watts. The instrument is equipped with an 8 mm collimator and a large area silicon detector (SDD 40 mm2). It also has 4 internal filters pre-installed on an automatic exchanger for optimizing the quantification of the signal with respect to the background radiation at different energies (low, intermediate, high). The instrument is equipped with the pre-installed Bruker calibration systems "Precious Metals" and "Heavy Metals and Elelement Nutrients in Soil" with related reference standards. Using the supplied software, the user can perform manual calibrations and install them in the instrument. It is also equipped with an integrated processor and internal/external memory for data storage, interactive touch screen, internal video camera at the analysis point, wi-fi and usb connectivity.
Instrument as new, used for 1100 analysis points lasting 60 seconds each, supplied with Bruker case.
The instrument can also work in vacuum or He flow conditions with the aid of accessories not supplied which makes it applicable also on liquids.
