Description
Innovative Incinerator Plant for P.F.U. Thermodestruction and Electricity Generation (2,000 Kg./h.)
TO PRODUCE KWH 21,000,000 / YEAR
MARANGONI THERMOVALORIZING PLANT BURNS 15,000 TONS ANNUALLY (X Tires ) BUT IT ALSO PROCESSES OTHER WASTES.
- Car fluff (automobile scrapping residue) - 20 - 22,000 tons /year - CER codes 191003 - 191004
- Hospital waste (usually in boxes) - about 20,000 tons/year - EWC codes 1801 and similar
- Secondary solid fuel: no longer a waste, comes from treatment of municipal waste -
also in quantities in the range of 20 - 22,000 tons/year.
- Paper mill pulper - EWC 030307
- Dried sewage sludge.
NB
These wastes (along with tires) may be mixed with any other wastes,
in percentages up to 10 - 15% can be used together with a main waste.
The important characteristic is that they should not be waste with too fine a grain size.
The plant consists of the following components:
- ELT conveying system (Car and Giant)
- PFU thermodestructor
- Afterburner with methane burner
- Wire/ash exhaust and separation system
- Hot flue gas by-pass chimney
- Heat recovery boiler or HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator)
- Master fan, cold flue gas by-pass and flue gas duct to filters
- Bag filters for dedusting and desulfurization
- Final stack tail fan
- Turbogenerator
- Thermal cycle components
- Electrical power system (transformers, ele switchboards, cables)
- Generator set
- Control and supervision system
- Water demineralization plant
- Continuous chimney emission monitoring system
