Description

The ENGEL INSERT 60H/30 SHUTTLE injection molding machine, built in 2016 in Austria, is designed for, among others, overmolding of inserts and joining various materials, such as glass, metal or electronics. The small size of the machine allows maximum use of production time with low operating costs. The electronic control of the injection unit and the "pressure blocking" system in the injection cylinders guarantee excellent quality of molded parts and very high repeatability.

The injection cycle begins with the closure of both halves of the mold, after which a high clamping force is generated. To protect the injection mold from damage, the ENGEL INSERT 30 plastic injection molding machine offers adjustable speed and clamping force. In the next step, the injection unit moves the nozzle to the injection sleeve of the mold and generates an adjustable clamping force. Finally, a highly efficient 18 mm diameter screw injects the molding compound at high pressure into the mold cavity. The mechanical lock of the screw valve prevents the molten material mass from returning to the screw coils.

The injection molding machine operates with a maximum clamping force of 30 tons and has a sliding table with workstations to the left and right of the injection station to greatly facilitate mold handling. Along with the machine, a wide range of accessories is offered, consisting of e.g. a modern ENGEL CC300 CNC controller with a touch screen, a PIOVAN S50 plastic feeder with an integrated blower and an ENGEL flomo mold temperature controller.
