Description of the machine
The Mach 4 AF systems cut with precision and accuracy with 0.05 tolerance and repeatability due to the use of Ballscrew technology on all linear Axes.
Depending on material being cut speeds of up to 400 inches per minute/10M per minute is attainable.
This system features a Siemens 5 Axis CNC controller, for your programming ease which can be used with many CAD/CAM systems.

A brief history of the machine is that it was bought by GKN Aerospace and Rolls Royce for a R&D project connected to manufacturing Carbon Fibre aircraft engine fan blades.
It was built in 2010 but installed and commissioned in 2011, the machine as barely used during 2011 to December 2019 when it was decommissioned with only 1600 hours shown on the hour meter. As you can imagine no expense was spared on the maintenance of the machine. We know the full history of this machine as we were responsible for the installation and service of this machine during its lifetime.
