Description

The HEF HEF DURFERRIT salt nitriding line , manufactured in 2001, is used for thermo-chemical treatment of details. The nitriding process performed by the machine in salt baths improves the mechanical properties of the charge by increasing its strength and resistance to wear and corrosion. As a result, the processed elements obtain an anthracite or black color and a surface hardness of up to 1,300 HV.

The production line includes:
- charge transport unit
- vat for washing/rinsing parts (3 pcs.)
- pit furnace for preheating
- SURSULF nitriding furnace
- TFI nitriding furnace
- OXYNIT nitriding furnace
- vat for preserving parts (water + COROLAC preservative + air)
- process equipment
- spare nitriding desilters

Throughout the entire period of use, the HEF DURFERRIT thermal and chemical treatment line was regularly serviced and modernized. About 2.5 years ago, the lining and heaters were renovated and the main nitriding vat was replaced. It is also possible to purchase a new, spare main vat for the offered machine for an additional fee.
