Quoting from Constructor's website **The control system integrated in the frequency inverter ensures that the optimum torque is applied to the rotor shaft at all times and in every operating state. This makes the HiTorc extremely energy-efficient. And since this purely electrical solution eliminates components such as clutches, belt drives or flywheels, maintenance costs are also significantly reduced. With the HiTorc, Vecoplan has been able to establish a clear technological lead on the market over the years. This has paid off in practice: In a demanding application at a customer, the drive only had to be replaced after 58,000 operating hours. The user only carried out the usual maintenance intervals - the HiTorc did not have to be overhauled or repaired in between.
