PSG DTS Pure Steam Generators are designed and constructed according to the latest CGMP FDA. They are capable of solving any problem of sterilisation of pharmaceutical equipment and process lines. The quality of the produced steam is constant in terms of pyrogenic contents, superheat value and dryness fraction, independently from pressure and production flow rate.

MAIN FEATURES:
Immediate start up: thanks to the design as per “accumulating boiler” technology, pure steam is immediately available. The unit is able to pass from stand-by to full capacity in few seconds. The PSG DTS generators design is based on the thermosyphon technology. The system is composed by two parallel bodies: the heat exchanger and the evaporator/decontamination column. Feed water is fed to the decontamination column (main body) while industrial steam is fed to the heat exchanger shell side. Industrial steam heats the feed water to evaporation temperature, creating a strong circulation inside the two bodies. The production capacity readily adapts to the variables required by users. The quality of pure steam is always excellent even by varying pressure and production capacity. The volume of water contained allows a constant pressure of pure steam even for sudden changes in the load. During the stand-by phase, energy consumption and concentrate discharge are negligible. The limited size, the accurate finish and the silent running allow the system to be inserted in the production departments. The fed water is conveyed by a pump into the evaporation chamber and into the pipe-side exchanger connected to it where it reaches the level set by the regulator. The vapor develops in the evaporator as a pure gas. The low evaporation rate and the height of the chamber prevent any entrainment of drops and impurities.
