From its pressurized, liquid form in the cylinder, the gas streams out when the valve is opened to emerge from the nozzle of treatment gun as fine spray, which hits the skin at a temperature of -78°C and a pressure of 1-2 bars lowering the skin temperature to between 4°C and 2°C within just 30 seconds.
