Folding hydraulic crane was designed to elevate from missile silo on submarine or destroyer at sea. This crane would handle munitions and has a 6:1 safety factor. Each folding function uses two high quality hydraulic cylinders and the rotating unit consists of two planetary drive systems with automatic brake. The hydraulic cylinder rods are stainless steel or other non rusting alloy. The original hydraulic power pack mounts on the base and consists of 35hp electric motor with pressure compensated variable flow pump. The original hydraulic system is included with the crane or a separate diesel hydraulic power pack is available.
