The portajib is a versatile jib arm that can interface with a variety of professional camera heads and tripods. It can carry up to 45 kg on the standard arm, and 23 kg on the long arm extension. It is in excellent condition, with only minor scuffs and abrasions. I purchased it from Losmandy for £3700 in 2012.
The jib arm can be adjusted into three different lengths:
Short = 3 ft height, 4 ft reach, (max wt 45 KG)
Standard = 5 ft height, 6 ft reach, (max wt 45 KG)
Extended = 8 ft height, 11 ft reach, (max wt 23 KG)
The height can also be increased by the dimensions of the base being used (e.g. dolly, tripod, risers, etc).
The Portajib can be assembled in less than 8-10 minutes without the need for any tools. All parts are machined aluminium and stainless steel.
Accessories include:
MOY base with 3-way leveller
100 mil adapter plate
150 mil adapter plate
MOY adapter plate
Short Arm Mini Kit
Standard Arm
Long Arm Extension Kit
Sack Trolley for Poart-jib
* Please not, this jib arm does not include a tripod of dolly, which it is required to stand it on. I've been using MOY sticks which work fine, but it can also fit onto a 150 mil base, spider-dolly, etc).
** The jib does not include weights, so you will need to supply your own standard weight plates (York are fine).
*** The jib arm includes a flight Case that fits most of the accessories.
**** This kit is for pick up only. I live in Cardiff, not too far from the M4.
