The Rommelag 305M BFS is a state-of-the-art filling machine, designed for the sterile packaging of pharmaceutical products into unit doses. It is equipped with an array of associated equipment, including machine conveyors, a Chr. Stougaard PGT 34 Polyloader, a Jenco HD50T Dryer, a Hydraulik 32-1,31-00-3 Hydraulic Pack, and a Vacuum Pump Assembly.
This machine is capable of running 2, 2.5, and 4ml unit doses at a rate of 11,000 UDV’s per hour. It has been regularly maintained, with Steam In Place qualification and media runs performed annually before removal, and routine calibrations carried out by BIL.
The Rommelag 305M BFS is a robust machine, weighing approximately 7000kgs and measuring 3150mm in length, 2825mm in width, and 2800mm in height. It operates within a noise level of 77 dB(A) and has an IP54-rated electrical enclosure.
The machine requires a supply voltage of 3 x 400 V+N, PE, a frequency of 50 HZ, and a control voltage of 24 V DC. It has a rated power consumption of 80 kVA and a maximum air consumption of 350 l/min at an air pressure of 8 bar.
The hydraulic system operates at a maximum pressure of 160 bar, powered by an 11 kW hydraulic motor. The extruder has a diameter of 45 mm (9 D) and is driven by a 32 kW motor. It uses LDPE plastic granulate, with a plasticizing capacity of 65 kg/h.
The machine operates optimally at a storage and operating temperature of 15-30 ºC, with an air moisture range of 40-80%. It requires cooling water at 12 ºC, 4 bar, with a consumption rate of 2 m3/h, and steam at 2.5 bar for preparation and production.
